A leading local bank company, based in Johannesburg, is seeking a BI Analyst to improve efficiency's in the business.
Responsibilities of the BI Analyst:
· Increase operational efficiency and suggest solutions to enhance cost effectiveness
· Generate reports to improve effectiveness in the business
· Collaborating with the business and IT team to enhance performance
· Conducting research to find solutions for complex technical issues
· Ensuring that the use of BI applications enhances business decision-making capabilities
· Provide internal consulting within the team, and assist business with creating reports for various stakeholders
· Evaluating the effectiveness of Business Strategies and execute relevant BI projects
· Manage existing dashboards and reports
· Pulling, interpreting the data, and presenting the findings
Qualifications and Experience required for the BI Finance Analyst:
· BCom / BSc in Computer Science / Analytics, Engineering - NB
· 3-4 years in business intelligence application
· Experience in Power BI, SQL, SAS, SSIS and strong excel
· Banking/Financial Services
· Building dashboards experience
