This senior role, covering all Digital Channels within Transactional Banking, is focussed on how the client (a leading bank) assists their corporate clients to transact. Working closely with Business Analysts and Project Managers, the Digital Channels Manager will act as liaison for all B2B (Business to Business) solutions, including (but not limited to): * Payments platforms and payments messaging * Trading & product platforms * FX platforms * Online platforms * SAP * Cards
Demonstrating previous experience of Business-to-Business relationships, particularly on the IT and technology side, will be crucial, as you will be responsible for implementation of Host-to-Host solutions for the clients.
In terms of the B2B cycle, this role sits after the Coverage Team have done their work. Namely, the coverage team look for the client, then bring in the deal to process it.
Even for just Vanilla products, often the bank will need to “host” the client, and therefore a bespoke solution will be created to “interface” between bank and client.
This Digital Channel Manager/ Programme Manager will be responsible for the overall production and build of these platforms, and will be the central liaison for whomever “touches” the platforms, i.e. both the bank and the clients

Required experience/ skills:
10 – 15 years’ experience with platforms
A background as an IT Business Analyst or IT Project Manager
Delivery of IT platform, or IT-related projects within Banking
Although IT focused and able to “speak the language”, able to liaise equally well on the business side
Previous roles as a Head: Digital or similar would be a suitable level
- Strong ability to build relationships
- Candidates should be sociable, with excellent stature
- Candidates should be strong in their convictions, assertive, and able to push back (always in a respectful manner)
- The role has a lot of autonomy, candidates must demonstrate an ability to work autonomously
- Excellent ability to juggle multiple deadlines
The role does not have direct reports, but will have a team of IT BA’s that they are able to deploy
This role is to replace the Hiring Manger, who has recently been promoted within the business
