Your responsibilities will include ensuring statutory and tax compliance while creating and implementing effective policies and procedures. You will support the senior management team by offering valuable insights and financial advice that will aid in strategic planning and analysis. Your role will also involve overseeing the external audit for the entire South African region. Furthermore, you will drive, execute, and take responsibility for strategic tax planning for the Group within South Africa. As part of your duties, you will form part of the post-acquisition team in terms of financial integration. Additionally, you will oversee the financial operations of assigned companies while drawing up budgets and projecting forecasts. Lastly, your role will involve managing staff recruitment, performance assessments, training, and career development. * Oversee all finance functions and tasks for South Africa * Ensure statutory and tax compliance; create and implement policies and procedures * Support the senior management team by offering insights and financial advice * Contribute significantly to strategic planning and analysis * Oversee the external audit for the whole South African region * Drive, execute, and take responsibility for the strategical tax planning for the Group within the South African region * Form part of the post-acquisition team in terms of financial integration * Oversee the financial operations of the assigned companies * Draw up, plan budgets, and project forecasts * Manage staff recruitment, performance assessments, training, and career development
