Financial Analyst

A fantastic opportunity in Durban has become available at a financial services institute and is looking to appoint a newly qualified CA to fulfil the role of a Financial Analyst.

Key responsibilities:

• Performing general ledger administration, to ensure all accounts in the ledger are verified, accurate and complete.
• Review all monthly recons.
• Monthly reporting in order to assist with preparation and analysis of monthly management accounting.
• Regulatory reporting for the preparation of monthly/quarterly returns.
• Performing audits /annual financial statements.
• Assist in managing cash flow and budgeting process.
• Working closely with senior management team.
• Assist with completion of annual tax returns.

Key requirements:

• Newly Qualified CA (SA) 2022.
• Post articles experience in Financial services or Banking or Insurance.
• Experience in Accounting, Auditing and Financial analysis.
• Knowledge of IFRS standards.
