South Africas largest private medical aid company is looking for a Actuary who will deliver business intelligence across a wide range of areas.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Understand the actuarial and risk functions of the business and develop and produce reports to monitor the
effectiveness of these functions.
Understand the key risks faced by the business and develop reports to track and manage these risks.
Monitor ongoing claims and product experience for insurance risk requirements and compare against expected
Responsible for the provision of information on actuarial issues to various committees within the company.
Inputs and advice on product development, partnerships, hospital negotiations, expense and claims analysis.
The successful candidate will possess:
Tertiary education mandatory, close to qualified or qualified actuary
At least 3 years working experience
