A fantastic opportunity has arisen at a leading provider of insurance and asset management services in the South African market, for a Technical Sales Manager for Structured Products and Annuities who will be responsible for developing, managing and implementing all sales development opportunities within this broad-based and diversified investment group. This includes specific focus on the various sales channels in which this investment brand operates.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Formulating and implementing all sales strategies and delivering on these objectives in conjunction with the Group's overall strategic plans;
Managing and leading a high performing technical sales force and continuing to build on a already established track record;
Developing strategic sales channels for all of the company's products and services and implementing appropriate management information systems;
Working with the product development team to ensure that the product range remains competitive in an ever-changing economic landscape
Maintaining and building key relationships with customers.
The successful candidate will possess:
A bachelor's degree honours, a CFA or an MBA would be preferable
At least 5 years experience in a financial services environment with a strong background and understanding of financial instruments, structured product and alternative investments
