My client is looking for a MIS Manger. They are one of the top banks in South Africa. They provide financing, risk management and advisory products and services to users and providers of capital in South Africa. This is an exciting opportunity for a strong individual to join a high profile and very profitable team liaising across all areas of the investment bank.
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing the reporting daily profit and loss for the trading desks
Generating and reviewing commentary on daily and monthly results
Tracking and analysing revenue from new initiatives and products
Providing analysis of trading revenue
Reporting sales credits and shadow revenues
Reporting VAPM (Valued added performance measures)
Generating suite of financial analysis reports
Executing ad hoc decision support projects for the front office, PCG and finance
Input into financial planning and budgeting for the trading desks
The successful candidate will possess:
CA (SA)
Big four articles
Investment Banking experience
Experience within an MI function at a bank advantageous
IAS 39 experience
